Nice rambles and off course meandering, I do the same. Good stuff though, I like your shot imagination but it was a separate idea beyond vaccination. You know, chipped like your dog but active. How about a bar code is next on the back of your heads. No worries, like I mentioned we’re all chipped with our phones in your pockets next to your region of choice these days. Really helpful on those murder cases most of the time. And I’m sure many of you already have a friend ready to throw your tablet/phone/laptops into the ocean if something ever happens to you. Gotta be prepared.

I keep all my devices wrapped in tin foil for my protection. Matches my hat.

Now that is good advice, generic but something to think about - but in the end none of us are of any significant importance, at least not until you mess up. Til Tok Tik Tok Tik Tok, or YouTube, even then it’s just pure entertainment forever. Back to flying with masks, justified or not join the fold it’s just a matter of time to be assimilated like any other public employment as most of us work for someone else. Or possibly be your own boss and you might mitigate your involvement with this mess.

For all the .mil folks….just imagine if we had only known the absolute protection given by a flimsy piece of paper dangling loosely over your mouth. We could have gotten rid of gas masks, MOPP level 4, and yearly gas chamber training. Hell let’s call the mask MOPP level 1000!! We may have lugged all that crap around for years but at least now we can save some money by canceling your health insurance. Just wear the mask and your good!

Who knows what to believe anymore. When this all started, we were told it was isolated to Asia. It shows up in the states, we shut down incoming and outgoing passenger flights to China. It spreads quickly in the States. We shut down the country for 7 days to “flatten the curve”. We extend it because it didn’t “flatten the curve” to 14 days, then a month. We are told to “social distance”. We are told to mask up. Fauci suggested at one point to double mask up. Fauci then says mask don’t work. Vaccine is released. This is supposed to get rid of Covid. Covid starts mutating to different strains. Vaccinated people are getting Covid. Covid is growing. But we don’t see hospital ships in NYC and LA. We don’t see business’ closed that are “non essential”. Theme parks are open unlike last year and only have a mask policy indoors. Point I’m trying to make is according to media outlets we are back to March 2020 and it’s worse. Science claimed all these things over the last year and a half will get rid of Covid. We hear nothing about the flu anymore. Everybody is a Covid expert from their internet medical degrees. Everybody thinks they are right and anybody who has a difference of opinion is wrong. Just look back at everything we’ve been told the past year and a half. Do we really even know what is accurate and what isn’t about Covid anymore? I’ve had Covid. I haven’t been vaccinated. I’m not a conspiracy theorist regarding vaccinations. I’m just hesitant because nobody knows if they will have long term negative effects from it. I carry a mask with me. If required I wear it. If not I don’t. I ask if in company of others if i need to wear a mask out of RESPECT to others and put it on. Maybe we should all stop being so concerned on being right all the time and start showing RESPECT and EMPATHY towards others.

Your last two sentences are the best ones. Unfortunately we live in a nation of ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME as opposed to the personal responsibility of making sure you are not potentially making someone ELSE sick.

Yes, but showing respect and empathy towards someone else does not mean you should be forced to change who you are or what you do. That, in my opinion, is where everything started going South..... someone got offended by something and now poof... you can't do that any more, you can't say that any more, you cant believe that anymore, you have to do what the offended says or you're a bad person. Sorry, one persons "offense" does not dictate the rights of someone else.
