$900 a year to park in BNA..so $75 a month and the stipend only covers $40

At least y’all have commuter parking available - SEA stopped taking new commuters just before the pandemic, and still won’t allow it at any price (outside of $72 per day normal parking fees)

So you’re out $10/month. Not horrible.

Tax happy idiots have started taxing people who live in certain places a percentage to cover local hospital services, II seems they have discovered not everyone who lives in that place works in that place. So now they are starting to add a “flat fee” to people who often transit, so everyone pays “their share”… meaning eventually, everyone everywhere will end up paying more so everyone can pay for drug addicts to get free needles. Right now that can be $25 every six months but once they establish legal precedent, it will go up. You will soon need an accountant just to know who you owe, let alone what you owe. It becomes easier to see why my Dad screams every time the subject of “government” arises.

Speaking of tax happy idiots, how does it work for tax filing for commuters? I live in Kansas, may end up commuting to NY (Class doesn't start for me until October)...the checks come from Delta (in MN or GA?), do you just file for home state and state where you're based?

Home state.
