Quote: FedEx guy running is going for First Vice President. My guess is because they know we will not get a second term at the helm, otherwise he would for sure go for it. Hasn't been much of a line pilot since he has been here, one ALPA job after another.

WR, I assume?

Yep - not a hard guess - call your rep if you don’t want him but it’s a done deal so it will fall on deaf ears

Please tell your reps that any deals made in the past may not be valid any longer.

We recalled our C5 reps who were huge Insler supporters. The interim Reps below (who will be at the BOD meeting ) campaigned that they do NOT support Insler,

The C5 reps hold more votes then anyone in ALPA as its the largest council in ALPA. While Delta 44 is bigger - it’s split into 2 with 4 reps vs. 2.

C5 Captain Rep Beck is a former EVP and Rep and has been to 8 BOD meetings and is no Insler fan, he knows how to play ALPA BOD politics. FedEx better beware with any deals because Beck will do everthing he can to make sure Insler is not elected including not supporting a Fedex candidate.

The problem here is that our reps will make deals on WR's behalf that will get Todd Insler elected ALPA president. Let your reps know how unacceptable that is.

The whole National BOD meeting is a cesspool. I need a shower just thinking about what they'll do in Vegas after a few years of lockdown.

I wrote every rep in my council and all 3 MEC officers - no reply or acknowledgment yet. They usually at least say “thanks for writing” so we’ll see. A bit busy at the moment I suppose.

You recalled the C5 rep that voted no to the agreement that Insler was not MC when presented to the MEC then for membership ratification?

That is like violating a capt for an altitude violation on the next flight the aircraft flew. Not his.

Surely FedEx pilots understand responsibility of command.

.
He admitted that if his vote was purely political and that if it was needed he would have voted for the TA. He did this all the time at the MEC to the point where even the Toddlers would laugh at his political votes. At least he understood he was a representative and would have to answer to his pilots. Other Toddlers didn't get that.

Jerry,

FedEx pilots understand traitors. In SERE school they learn about guys like you. If you are willing to sell out your own group, how can you be trusted. What is Delta giving you to sell out your own pilot group? And this is not the first time.

Quote: Todd Insler. I hear he’s supposedly got your MEC locked up to vote for him for ALPA president.

This is his picture with your MEC he’s second from the left.

Not sure if this picture is all that nefarious. One of the other people running for ALPA President, the DAL MEC Chair, is actually second from the right.

Not nefarious at all. Ambrosi and Insler are good guys. It's the malicious and malevolent ones that want make this all dirty.

ALPA has a solid reputation as a global leader in aviation safety. There are those who are willing to turn ALPA into a Kardashian side show to satiate their own greed, grudges and spite.
