Top Men have confirmed it’ll be Johannesburg L-100.

“Delta welcomes the opportunity to once again fly the Lockheed L-100. The rebranded L-100 “Bag Boy” will augment current and future A350 routes, connecting passengers with their payload optimized bags in a far more timely manner.”

lol. There’s no money in cargo, unless your hauling in two planes what should have been hauled in one.

I think the word is they want another daily departure from network on the 330. The 350 gets either HND or ICN (can't remember), so that doesn't add to the 330 flights. So - not yet.

I remember when they were opening 220 bases and we were told it was NYC and LAX (or SEA...can't recall which one). You could actually put in a bid for LAX220 (but not SLC220)....then the AE is announced and it's NYC and SLC. Never believe it until you're through training and flying it in base lol.

It was LAX and funnily enough they have some of the least amount of 220 flying (minus ATL have zero). But yea this x100

edit: I guess some of the non-LAX airports do have quite a bit of 220’s
