FO's aren't leaving quite as fast as they were a few months back. To some the grass might not be as green as it was originally percieved "off" company, upgrade times are low right now (they won't stay there) but some FO's probably don't believe this and think they can upgrade in a year, when realistically it'll be closer to two.

Wear a suit to the interview, if you dont have one, buy one. While it's not required by any means, you'll use it for your next interview anyway, navy is the color, white shirt, red tie. All of which will come in handy if you decide to make the jump to chautauqua in two months. Best of luck, it's easy, don't sweat it.

Quote: I have an interview with TSA coming up soon. Are there any "new hires" out there who would like to share some of the questions they got asked? Also, did most guys wear a shirt&tie, a coat&tie, or a suit? Any other tips you may have? Every little bit helps.
No matter how easy the interview sounds for TSA take flynavyj's advice and look professional. Definitely wear a suit and tie.

Once your interview goes well then comes the fun stuff. From what I've heard from other friends, the training at TSA is longer then a lot of other airlines. Generally, training takes around 2 months, maybe a little bit more before you are completely done. You will have 2 weeks of GOM (General Operating Manual), which talks about the general procedures of the company.1 week of GOS (General Operating Specification), which covers regulations, weather, AIM, W&B, performance. Finally, 2 weeks of systems and then the systems final. Once you complete the oral you will have 8 sim lessons at flight safety in St. Louis, MO. After your sim lessons you will have your check ride and then complete your training with a LOFT.

To give you a perspective, I started July 2nd, and I just finished my LOFT and graduated from training today. I can't wait to start IOE.
