Does anyone have any info( feedback) on the flight training programs offered at National Pilot Academy? It seems to be a good program. Any thoughts and feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Jaron, this program looks similar to that of National Pilot Academy. Is Fly aviation where you went? If it is where you went, I take it that you liked it? If thats where you went, what was the total cost? Thanks for your time.

National Pilot Academy
I have been looking into National Pilot Academy (www.nationalpilotacademy.com) for some time and have been very impressed with their program. If everything they claim is true, this has got to be the best program out there.

I did call in and speak to somebody to get more information. The cost for their program is around $50K. Much cheaper than I had expected for all the one-on-one training you get. They said that they guarantee you a position as a flight instructor after their accelerated course and let you instruct for another 12 months until you have 1,100 hours logged. They also said that they have placed 100% of there students within their airline careers, most of which go and work for Skywest Airlines.

What do you guys think? Has anyone had any experience with them? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Pilot4455, I have talked to a NPA rep on the phone a few times. The information that you stated is exactly what they had told me. I am planning on starting there in March at the Tucson facility. I want to look at their facility and equipment before I commit. I am gong down there in a couple of weeks to check it out. I callled a pilot recruiter at Skywest this last fall, I asked them if they hire a lot of NPA graduates. The recruiter told me that they do hire the majority of graduates from NPA. She said that it doesnt matter where you get your ratings, but that they do hire the majority of NPA grads. After I check out the facility, ill post my opinion about it on here.

NPA in Las Vegas
Hey everyone, with regards to NPA, from what i see it looks like a great program, i am actually in the proc. of getting funds. It did sound a bit too good to be true so i did some research, i spoke to the dir. of human resources at Sky West, she confirmed all the information i got from the school, from salarys to work sched. to advancement rates. also i contacted Mesa airlines, which run the American West and other regional flights, NPA actually gives you more experience than is required by them, so it seems like they are on point. so unless i find something negative between now and enrollment time it looks like im in.

I visited NPA a while back, the Tucson location. While the people were friendly, and it seemed like a good program. I could not justify the costs involved. I am getting quality instruction now at a small school and paying about $20,000 less.
I also talked to the recruiter at Skywest and she told me it did not matter where I trained, that being said, what is the motivation to go to NPA or any other large school? I would suggest shopping around and seeing what else is available.
