A friend of mine who works at Skywest said he had no idea what NPA was. Most of the CFIs they hire are from the SLC area. You don't have to pay a lot of money just because they claim Skywest is a partner. Believe me Skywest is the last place that looks at accelerated academys to give them pilots. Just get a CFI position at a mom and pop flight school in the salt lake area, they skywest likes guys from Utah or I guess mountain flying experience.

I am currently enrolled in at the Cedar City location. They do have a great program. My only complaint would be the management at Cedar City. I have struggled with them a bit, but I think we have worked things out. I don't know too much about their other locations, but I do know the manager of the Tucson location. He used to be my neighbour, and he is an awesome guy, and will definelty help anyone out. I just talked to the Cedar manager, and apperently they have reached a new agreement with SkyWest to interview the students with only 850 TT. I don't know if that is true yet, but we did have an instructor leave recently who got hired with SkyWest. For the most part, I have been impressed with the school. The instructors are awesome, and are really willing to help. I hope this helps someone.

Desertdog71: Could you tell me where you're getting your licence?

Could anybody tell me how the costs come together? As far as I know you fly as a student for approximatly a year and then you fly as an instructor and even get money for flying. How is it possible to get together a check of 50k $ by the end of your course?

Does anyone have anymore information about the Tuscon location? Also how much do they pay for when you become a instructor?
