If you are coming form the U.S., you are right. You may not want to leave your major/legacy job. Before age 65, it was different. As many of them would let you fly to 65. If you are at a low paying 74 operator and looking for a job, it may be worth considering. If you are at a foreign carrier that operates the type but went out of business, or just simply doesn't have good T&C's, it might be worth considering.

www.gapaviation.com. Most of the KAL contract don't require you to relocate to another country. There are many U.S. cities you can live in, as well as business class tickets back and forth to work.
Flying in and out of LAX frequently, I can't tell you how many U.S. (or possibly Canadian) voices I hear on the radio lately flying KAL aircraft.
