It is a sad sad day. Carl was a great pilot and a good friend. It's terrible that this has happened to a great person. My condolences to his family.

I just had a friend pass away over the holidays, and now Carl... man life is short and fragile. It really makes you think about how petty some of the things we wrap ourselves up in are.

My deepest condolenses to his family...

Really well put there!

I remember Carl and I worked a Stand-up to Regina. And the whole ride all he said was "Who the hell names a city Regina?" and from that came "Forget Missoula, I'm working a regina tonite!" and "Its pretty late, we chould call Regina control, and make sure it stays open!" and a host of other Stupid-funny punches...HE will be missed by all.

He will be missed,
I remember having a gear malfunction with him from Pittsburgh to Watertown enroute Massena....The local press wrote about him on landing as the pilot had to be escorted to the bathroom, from all the water he used to drink in that Mighty Beech (with no lav).... That was Carl
Now he has flown west....... Rest in peace Good Friend.
