The link to apply is only available during open hiring window. The window is not at this time open to accept applications so if you have not applied you will have to wait tell the window is open again to accept application. We currently have a small pool so would probably have enough pilots from that to fill a new class. Keep an eye out for post about another class starting the window would probably open after that.

The question about getting hired without the posted Min, I would say it would be very unlikely to get a call without the Min. It is very completive to get hired here.

Just perused Allegiant's APC page and their own web page. Anybody have the latest and greatest on them? Sounds like 2013 will be a year of growth for them. Plus I saw they are advertising for instructors on both the MD-80 and 757. Thanks.

We have a class doing ioe now. I think 12 total and another class of 12 doing systems. I've heard rumors of more hiring but nothing big. We are getting airbuses this year and one more 75 but were also losing MD80's I think net gain in 2013 as of now is 1 airframe. However I think a lot depends on how many TWA/AA guys go back this year. Most of our growth is happening on the east coast.

Not worth it

The class of 12 is almost done. There's a class of 16 in ground right now. Heard 50/50 shot of another class in April-ish. But nothing confirmed. Almost all growth is in FL, so expect to be based there a while. Getting 2 A319s and 7 A320s this year, but losing 2 MD87s and 5 MD80s. Latest Airbus talk is IWA, BLI and possibly LAS or SFB. As of last week, I believe, all 6 757s are now online. Sounds like a small 757 class in April...all for HNL.

Does anyone know if both these classes going on now are filled with people from the pool (who interviewed over a year ago)? Or, are there any people in these classes who interviewed recently and were hired?

Most were from the pool, but I know of at least one that was interviewed for the Jan class. Probably a few total. Guessing they were all from recommendations.

We have pilots who are being displaced March. The bean counters are saying were overstaffed on the West. In the last week 2 of said displaced pilots have accepted last min assignments on days off. CS calls it MM mission mode, Stop doing it!!! Back to the thread we will be hiring in 2013. heard another class in Apr..
