I got the call the last week in Apr and they offered me anytime in May to set up the interview.
Quote: I'll be interested in this question as well. I put my entire time in the Navy under present employer and didn't break it up based on duty station. I used my SF86 form and added all my previous employment prior to my military history in the work history section. What do you guys think? Break it up by duty station...or does it matter?

Rhino-

For what it's worth, I broke my Naval Service up into separate duty stations. For me that wasn't too hard as the 10 year history they ask for only included my FRS Cat I through DH tour (and not the 6-8 months here and there in P'cola, Corpus, Meridian etc).

Personally speaking (someone please correct me if I'm incorrect), since they want you to list a 10 year address history, you probably should break up your employment history so they mesh up as accurately as possible IMHO.
Quote: Make sure it is as perfect as you can make it; Proofread over and over. I made corrections/changes right up until the "two day limit" before the interview.

Guard Dude,

With this in mind, I've done this to the app, but I've noticed little mistakes on 3 of the 5 recs I have on file. Do you have any idea how this is perceived by Delta? I'm assuming there is nothing I can do about that. Great recs otherwise.
Rhino,
I know what you mean about a rec's mistakes. I guess it is what you can live with from what they type. I noticed a pretty big mistake from one of my rec's and told him about it. He said he would correct it. So I had to delete his original comments and re-submit his email address so he could write another one.
Quote: In airlineapps.com did yall include every base you were ever stationed at (i.e. training) or just the ones your were permently assigned to in the Employment History?
LOBO,
I had my formal training schools (UPT, CIQ, & ACQ) match my addresses. However, I did not include my Oman, Saudi, Iraq, Uzbek, and Afghan bases individually. The biggest thing is not to show a break between any addresses or any break between employers. Good Luck!
Codguy, Polly, LOBO:
Congrats on getting the email/call. Good Luck on your interviews!
I second that gents. Best of luck!

For what it's worth, talked with AirApps people this morning and they said they prefer to have your mil history in one lump sum. I then read the instructions and it ask for your ENTIRE work history, not just the past 10 years. I think Guard Dude said he broke it up and he's in like Flynn. It probably doesn't make that much difference, but then again, what do I know? ...I'm about to be umemployed!
Got the nod for an interview today as well! Any rumors on the equip/domicile breakdown for the new hire classes?

FWIW I broke my military/employment history up by base so it would match my address history. Then listed the primary squadron I was assigned to as my company. Put any additional job info in the Duties section.
I talked with HR at a job fair and I am pretty sure they said to break it up by assignment.

The earliest date for interview offered yesterday was the 17th.

When do you find out equip/domicile? At the interview or during indoc?

For those that got job offers, how soon are you starting?

Ok guys,
I have been using info off this site for a couple months now and got some great gouge so its about time I returned the favor......

I got the job with Delta and waiting for a start date. From what I gathered from the interview they want you to break up your time in the service. I basically treated each PCS as a job change and matched up the address. They went through each one with me during the HR part.

I was told to expect late June/ early July for a start date. They talked nothing about equip/domicile at the interview, but buddies have told me you find out the first couple of days indoc. Hope the last four of your SSN is a low number. Apparently they base your senority in the class off that.

Congrats on the interview....
