Just a question for NWA pilots, when do you have to switch to DAL uniforms and is it hats on on that day? I have a hat but I never wore it becuase the ones they provide us are goofy looking and to be honest with you hardly anyone else at my airline wears them. Regardless, I am going to be going hats on with you guys and hopefully more at the regional level will as well.

March 30th is the day, and yes the hat becomes required.

Its going to be fun guys. The Old Delta guys will have the worn out hats and epaulets. The New Delta guys will be all spiffy and shiny and stuff. I'm looking forward to the new wings. Haven't seen them yet but they're waiting for me at LAX ops.

I know you said you haven't seen the new wings, but what are the changes?

They stole the CITGO triangle, and put it on our wings and hat.

The wings & hat brass are a 2 tone red now. There is no longer blue on them.

I like the new 2 tone scheme and hope to one day wear them.................as long as my potential seat doesn't scope'd out.

Hung up my NWA jacket for the last time tonight.........more sad than I thought I'd be.
