Must be abused wife syndrome.
Why are the most militant pilots gone all Celene Dion on us?
Please reconnect with your dangly bits.

We still have our dangly bits. The Celene Dion feelings we have are only for the fraternal moments we have had with our fellow NWA pilots and employees, good and bad. Plus, I think my DAL jacket flares out like a skirt. This double-breasted thing will take some getting used to.

As a DAL-S guy, I am sad to see the NWA branding going. I guess I'm just a nostalgic kind of guy. Would have been interesting if they could have incorporated elements of both airlines in the new branding. Still, progress, or what subs for it, marches on. Anyway, welcome to the family.

I thought I had commuted to the wrong airport last night when I showed up at MSP this morning for my trip. Between all of the DAL-N guys walking around in double breasted and the gate agents in their new uniforms. I thought I was still asleep.

Just get a reasonably sized potato for the front and it pulls the uniform together nicely with no "flare" on the side. Just be sure you are not talking "flair."

Actually, he was probably one of the best "Airline" CEO's ever aside from Herb Kelleher. Crandall didn't play favorites up in Centerport, even axed a few underperforming friends at the upper management level. Crandall was responsible for growing AA into the gorilla that it was before TWA. Those since have simply ridden in his wake, however the ship is slowing.
Unfortunately for me, I was hired after the NWA bk contract and I will never know what Northwest Airlines or Orient was like. When it comes to being sentimental, I can easily understand the anguish some must be going through that were around for the good days. If it's any help, maybe a few could contrast a career at NWA to the movie Old Yeller. The dog in the beginning was not the same as it was in the end. Whether Delta-S guys want to admit it or not, the new-Delta is fragile and in her puppy stages. With careful calculation at the top and devotion at all levels she will be and forever remain the company that secures our families futures.
