Delta/NWA does not have anyone furloughed that does not want to be. In other words, all pilots that were furloughed in the past were offered recall. Some bypassed and others resigned, but I don`t know how many

It is simply amazing, and equally crappy, how bad it is in the aviation world. NJ was so high on many peoples' lists just two or three years ago because they were still hiring when oil was high and some of the majors were already struggling. I hope everyone can make it through with minimal damage.

Netjets Europe is feeling the heat aswell, they have been asking pilots to fly part time with pay cuts to weather the storm.

saw in ain magz that on jan 15 2010 netjet wes layoff 495 pilots god bless this pilots. for they have a long road ahead of them.

Flying's email news letter yesterday stated that in the middle of January 2010 the layoffs would start and the number was close to 500. Not good news.
