Wow, terrible situation with not a lot of divert options from where they were at. The proverbial sht sandwhich. A raging fire, impending loss of control, and no where to go. Sadly we'll never know why they didn't divert to Doha or Al Udied, or if it would have made a difference. Wonder if ditching would have even been survivable.
