I lived in MSP. It's a good job on many fronts for people living in MSP but tougher for commuters. It's not intentionally a commuter unfriendly place, but the nature of their schedules make it less than ideal, especially for junior pilots.
As soon as I was offered the job I moved to MSP, where I have some roots and family. Now that I have a new job I may look into relocating to another city.
Commuting sucks no matter how you slice it and I think it would be even worse for Sun Country pilots, simply because of the nature of most of their flying. That's not a slam on SY at all, but the flying they do isn't oriented around commuters.
I'm very glad I lived in domicile during my year there.
