Another FDX vaca ? July is my last vacation slot for the year. I have 17 days (17x6hrs=102 hrs) My vacation bank balance shows 112 hrs. left. Can I expand to knock out 112 hrs +6 or just 112?

Well now that I look at it I never had vacation that covered 2 bid periods so I don't know. I do know that if they remove a C/O trip for vacation in the previous month, any next month trip that touches it will be removed as if that C/O trip were still there and you will be eligible for CIC.

Bank Balance has nothing to do with what you can expand to. It is your days + 6. 102+6.

to add on; and the only way to get 108 CH dropped via expansion is hitting carry over with your vacation days as I do not think we have any lines built that high. If you bid reserve or secondary you will get paid all 17 days as your BLG and get some buy back in December.

I once knocked out a 10 day trip and a 12 day carryover trip (10 in the next bid month) with 8 days of VAC without touching either! Yes, I went in the hole some!

I'm trying to do something similar, although the trips are not quite as long. Could you help me understand vacation deficit?

If this year I knock out this entire month and even hit a trip next month, with my current vacation, and go into a 40 hour deficit;
-I will still be paid all the hours for the trips I hit, correct?
-What happens next year, when with my reduced-by-40-hour vacation bank I hit trips again that go into deficit? Will I still be paid and go further into deficit? What is the highest deficit one can accumulate (without MUV)?

You have to have a positive vacation bank balance to use your vacation. If you have 1 minute in your vacation bank you can still use all of the awarded vacation days in that month. You will not be able to use any vacation periods for the rest of that year once you go to a negative bank balance. Bid wisely my son

What is the priority for MUV during the conflict/input window, compared to CIC, MUS, etc.?
Is MUV available in future conflict/input windows? Or, only during the CIW during which that vacation was in?
