Ok I will ask here. I am Chief Pilot at a yr old On Demand Charter Operator and I am trying to get some salary info on what people are getting paid who are flying light jets ( LR35, Ultra's etc) to Large Cabin ( GV, Global, Falcon, etc) so I can make sure my pilots are being paid fairly. I know we are below industry standard but I am up against a owner who owned a operation similar 15 yrs ago and does not believe me when I say we are under paying our pilots.
Thanks!

I wish I could help out but I am not in that part of the industry. I appreciate your efforts though.

Start with a salary survey such as NBAA or ProPilot (http://flyinginvestments.com/downloa...vey%202011.pdf)

You may need to apply other variables such COLA, on-call availability, benefit packages etc... I know margins may be tight, but I would remind the owner about the costs associated with higher turnover and retraining.

Not to mention happy pilots = happy owners

Yes I am trying to keep down the turn over and make this a place pilots want to work at and want to stick around. Hopefully if I can convince the owner to stop using pay from 15 years ago so we will become competitive with other operators. Thanks for all your help.
