....and this time, they'll likely bone themselves in the process. AA pilots will never willingly accept anything like AMR's term sheet and thus AA would be destined to exit bankruptcy with no pilot labor agreement and most likely with both other unions too. If AA exits chapter 11 in that state, it would be bedlam and I can't see any investors or lenders comfortable backing such an operation wherby in effect, management and labor are at war. Not saying current managment won't do this as so far, they have disregarded their employees completely, which is why we are where we are.
I'm still waiting for AMR's first smart move in a decade. Will this be a turning point to level the wings and bring them back to their senses or will they simply tighten their graveyard spiral ?
I think we're at the "terrain, terrain" phase. If they keep pulling back, we'll be at the "whoop,whoop.......pull up, pull up" point, but by then they'll be so low and so fast, they'll either rip the wings off or slam into the ground.
