I'm looking for flight schools that are good for time building and pay average to above average.

I want to find a flight school where I could log 100 hrs a month without trying.

I have experience instructing and have a CFI/CFII/MEI

I have instructed international students before and understand the dynamics and politics involved.

My preference would be to find a job in the southern california area.

Being a cfi isn't just about how many hours you can build.

lol... get in line buddy... good CFI jobs aren't exactly a dime a dozen these days.

I spoke to a CFI teaching out of San Carlos (SQL) recently. He said he and his colleagues keep what they charge per hour ($60-75/hr) and at least one of them makes $100k/yr. I didn't argue with him.

I would suggest moving to an area with good weather and lots of rich people with lots of spare time. For LA that sounds like Santa Monica. You're not going to fly 100/mo without really trying however!

I'm looking for a flight school with international students where each student usually fly's everyday. I wouldn't need to try very hard at a flight school that needs CFIs and has plenty of International students. Having 3-6 students that fly 5-10 times a week would be ideal. I would consider reasonable pay to be roughly $18-$30 per flight and ground hour. I need hours quick for a part 91 job that I'm about 600 short on.

What would you consider a good flight school?

To be honest thats a **** poor attitude to have. While being a CFI may not be a "career" for many people it is still something you should do 100%. You shouldn't have become a CFI if don't want to be a "CFI". It is not fair to your students and to the profession. Go tow banners or fly jumpers if you don't want to teach.

that depends on what your looking for...

...if your looking to build hours fast, then a school with international students would be ideal. You sorta missed the best time to score one of those jobs though. The summer is already here and regionals aren't hiring much right now so a lot of current CFI's are staying put. There are currently more than a few CFI's at the school where I did my training with well north of 1500TT. But good luck.

...not to mention the delivery in your initial post was pretty cocky and you seem to have a misplaced sense of entitlement. Correct me if I'm wrong here... You just seem to have a bad attitude judging by the tone of this post^ and the original post. Like I said before, good luck!
