Maine was cool, my bro lives there, a diehard!
And the water, though in the lower 40s, was not bad with a 6 mil with attached hood, gloves and booties, also thik as heck! The suits now are so nice! I don't have one but I used to wear 3/2 or 4/3 in my younger days and the 6 mil was very flexible and nice.
2nd CA and OR, easy camping surfing exploring fun!

Flat here..........dreaming of the next trip.

Some great info! Being a goof, Im thinking about Cabarete over Rincon because Ive heard they have more lefts and Rincon is more rights. any good lefts in rincon or around the area? I know aguadilla would be way more convenient for me. I surfed Jupiter/Juno pier last weekend. It was breaking great but wow, what a crowd!

I was thinking about trying to stash a board in LA somewhere and bid lax overnights. I just hate cold water.

Any surf info for Lima?

While I lived in Mel Beach for 4 years, I'd head down to Juno whenever a strong cold front would come through. Seems like the place only turns on during a refraction or hurricane swell....Awesome wave, horrible crowd.. theres also a lot of dudes swimming around in grey wetsuits.

Anyone know of good breaks for camping? I assume Oregon would be good for this. Anyone have some locations?

Hotel may have storage, but a rental car would be highly recommended. Otherwise it's El Porto...and I can't say I miss that place too much. Most days aren't much better than central FL, but with cold water and more kooks.

Haven't done South America, but it will happen.

I've got some good lefts at Domes, Spanish Wall, and Pools.

Cape Cod has some great spots for camping along with surf along the National Seashore especially around September, you'll definitely want a 3/2 suit though pretty chilly water. Been surfing up in that area for about 6 years during the summer but recently they've had a bunch of great white spottings along the beaches there which is a bit unsettling..

Add inches in patillas to the list of good lefts. Doesnt break unless a storm passes south, but it was absolutely worth the drive from san juan last weekend.
