I'm not. International airlines will love the chance to do it.

So you think they are for expansion OUTside the US?

Emirates Express?

Here's a more specific and current source:http://www.airlinesanddestinations.c...ions-100-more/

That would limit skyw inc. Look at all US mainline and all internationals that do not have clear access to places like sav, ict etc....

A great deal of pilots do not understand how regionals started. They had their own brand and sold seats. Mainlines would buy seats and revenue share those seats. So IF this is the case the industry is about to go full circle.

Not unless they have a local business partner lined up who is capable of starting up an airline. SKW can't just start up airline operations outside the US (well maybe in Zimbabwe).

The MRJs are 70 seaters...they are probably just a planned replacement for the CRJ 700/900s that SKW owns. They will be more efficient and have better passenger ergonomics than current RJ's, ie the best of CRJ and E-170 combined.

The timing would probably align with heavy Mx checks on many CRJ 700's...rather than pay for those, maybe best to just get new (better) ones.

If airlines trust the Brazilians to deliver quality products on time, there's no reason the Japanese can't do that.

You are correct and in my opinion everything points towards things going back in that direction. I think Code Share is coming and probably sooner than we think. Silver and Delta already have a code share implemented to keep cheap turboprops flying routes that jets can't make money on without Delta putting their name on any of the flying. Delta doesn't even sell Silver Airways tickets...Island Air does.

Is it me or is the timing suspect here? Just as AA has an agreement, and it looks like a landslide on the UA agreement is coming, IMO, I think the fix is in....

Also, AA is going to have 200 190/5... looks like these narrow gauge planes are going to be the future for pilots over the short term.
