Does anyone know what the fleet sizes of CAL and UAL were at merger announcement? This is what I got from Wikipedia, not sure it is correct.

Aircraft - - - - UAL - - - - - CAL
B747 - - - - - - 24
A350 - - - - - - 25 orders
B777 - - - - - - 52 - - - - - - 22
B787 - - - - - - 25 orders - - 25 orders

Looks about right for CAL. I think CAL had 26 767s (16 764s and 10 762s). Might have had one or two fewer 777s and probably had a few less 737s, but you're definitely close.

According to the merger doc between the unions, nothing was for replacement, it was all to be considered growth. United had parked the entire DC-fleet and the 747-200's a while back, so the A-350's were just to grow the widebody fleets.
