Quote: Best news we could have seen for Air Ops Ops.... An outside SVP with a good reputation taking over, bringing Flt Ops, OCC, and Inflight back under one leader, and leaving the options open to select the best leadership available once we have a Single Certificate.

Maybe change (for the better) really is coming...
Andy, I believe you are right.

I have heard Hogg and Hale will be VPs until single certificate and then Isom and the SVP of air ops will decide on who they will retain or who else they will bring in.

This is fact, not rumor. Straight from Isom's letter to employees posted on Wings the other day. Hogg and Hale keep their respective jobs until SOC, when Bular retires, the new SVP Air Ops (projected to be Campbell the Consultant) officially comes aboard, and he and Isom make a decision about the VP Flight position. Sounds like odds are about equal on Hogg, Hale, or an outsider.

Regardless, nothing from Isom's update really surprised or upset me at all. Will be interested to see how the training department shakes out, but that's further down the road.
