I know I'm going to regret digging this up, but I finally got my 135 initial done yesterday, that I mention was originally scheduled for Oct 8th on page (2) of this thread

We have scheduled and rescheduled so many times, originally for shut down, then our POI lost his certification rights because he timed out, then couldn't do his check ride due to weather, then weather in December and Christmas Eve as a date, and finally the first attempt this month was -15 and a half blizzard.

92,232,295 working age adults are currently unemployed in the USA and the number is increasing.

$17,338,542,000,000 total USA national debt and is increasing.

Of that, $5,825,309,000,000 is owed to foreign countries and is increasing.

$652,836,000,000 USA's current Federal Budget Deficit for fiscal 2014 (Washington is still spending more money than it takes in)

......

How do you think this is going to end? We've already spent $2,600,000,000,000 on interest payments. That's $2.6 trillion we'll never get back. Imagine if we had that money to spend on our own country???

Just curious as to where these numbers came from. As of 2010, there were only 105,229,000 working adults in the entire nation, so I'm not sure that 92 million of them are out of a job.

If there are 360 million Americans and illegals here isn't possible that the potential labor pool could be 200 million and both sets of numbers are correct?

Either way women and minorities will be reported as hardest hit.

Nice deflection, so if I say 65% of black men are not considered in the "labor pool" you respond that they must be mostly boomers?
