How will the government shutdown affect you?

Many on here can't see past their own nose.
I was in a support squadron once and would explain its' function to others in such a way:
Imagine landing your Hornet on a deserted road out in the desert low on gas and out of ammunition. How effective will you be?
You, the war fighting trigger puller, requires massive SUPPORT to complete the mission.
If as a single entity the FAA would truly shutdown - most seem to have little understanding of the impact on their own industry. Many of the issues don't occur overnight. Maybe someone can tell me who performs the necessary inspections on fuel supplies and delivery systems. If those are Federal inspectors, how long would it take for a trickle down effect to have an impact?
PerfInIt is only scratching the surface.
Unless of course the rules are just changed to suit those who continue to fail in their duty if leading this country.

The decision to furlough FAA safety inspectors should tell you all you need to know about the Obama mindset. They are furloughing critical inspectors and keeping the recruiters in the Obamacare program. Who would make that leap, but an extreme partisan who is willing to endanger the public but not their politics.

I'm supposed to have a 135 initial check ride Tuesday. I don't think that's happening! Not like I'd be flying anytime soon, my full time profession being a farmer has me a little tied up, but its the premise of it all.

Make no mistake, work is piling up for us. It's going to be chaos for a long while to get past the mountain that lies in front of us. Would really like to be able to get some of this done, but due to budget cuts we are further restricted from getting some of it done, can't go into overtime and can't travel to operators to get something done in way that might be more convenient to all. Just waiting for it to get passed so we can get started.
