Why only three days a month? What if you have a good schedule with lots of days off? Honest question, just curious.

Its something ALPA negotiated and it's in or Collective Bargain Agreement unfortunately. In the past Pinnacle was using crews down to the bare bone including Junior Man's assignments. In order to preserve the Quality of Life on your days off ALPA negotiated the number of junior assignments in a month and during the calendar year. Also they added that language where your only allowed 3 pick up days, it forces the company to hiring and not man 5 pilots per airplane.

It made a big difference in pay, since your not allowed to pick up a complete 4 day. If a trip is broken it no longer is pay protected in a couple of ways. A LOA was in effect which allowed 4, although it has expired. They choose not to renew it.

With the combination of a four year cap, lose of premium, and in addition your limit to 3 days many of us lose anywhere from 15-35 percent pay. This contract has a duration of 7 years which only make matters worst,

The upside is if your a senior FO your holding 18-19 days off since there isn't a incentive to pick up trips. At least that's the way I look at it.

One thing is for sure I have flown with great crews here at Endeavor. A couple bad apples in the tree but that's everywhere. Don't let anyone judge Endeavor Air for you , for the folks interested coming here. But definitely do your research before making a decision.

Do you guys still have a JFK base? Is it junior?

yep still have a crj9 JFK base. shutting down the base with the 200's. I would be reserve(6 year FO) maybe junior line depending on the flying assigned by delta. although might change soon with company movement.

I pick up 4 day trips all of the time...never had an issue.

I agree. With the movement that is supposed to be upon the industry here quickly, wherever you go will hopefully be brief...of course I thought that 7 years ago and Im still here

The fleet is published at 81 CRJ 900's and ZERO CRJ 200's. There is a lot of flutter about "keeping some of the 200's" and how slow the 200 reduction will be(1,2,3....years? Never?). The problem is Endeavor is unable to set the number at anything above zero. Therefore it is nothing but rumor, speculation or wishful thinking. Doing the math.... 81 airframes, X 5 crews per plane = about 810 pilots total. They sit about 1900 pilots today. Do the math.

They are losing one a pilot a day on a slow month to other opportunities, this is likely to continue. They are parking 200's a little faster than they are receiving new 900's so the reduction in the number of pilots needed is less than current attrition. This will change when the final 26 900's are received and the parking of the 200's continue. At present there is a high likelihood that Endeavor will not be able to cover the summer flying schedule.

Can anyone from Endeavor provide me with an update on the company? Any new information on FO pay, upgrade time, attrition rate, etc? Any other comments about the moral of the pilots, benefits etc would also be helpful. Are there still only 81 Airframes and 1900 pilots? What does everyone do, play cards? Thanks.
