I for one am ready to burn Eagle down. Let the spineless cowards at PSA have ALL the flying. I'd rather lose my job than take a single cent in concessions for new aircraft.

As promised, AA wants the E-175s at the real Eagle:

American Airlines orders up to 150 Embraer E175s, 70 Bombardier CRJ900s

Republic Airways already operates the Embraer E175 on behalf of American Eagle. Today’s order will see the aircraft being delivered directly to American subsidiary American Eagle.

Couple that with Kirby's recent interview:

Spineless DB's, Scabs, Brown Streakers, the list is endless and is getting old. Come on guys, lets try and be professional with one another, we all have to work in this crappy environment. I do not post often, I just sit back and read, I guess some would say Troll? However, I work at PSA yes, have been there for going on 7 years and got stuck here as the retirement age went up and mainline hiring dried up. With that said, I voted no, but, some of my fellow colleagues voted yes and that is where we are.
Here is the thing, we have absolutely no control over where flying or aircraft go, we are just ponds in the grand scheme of things. I was adamant about voting no because I too wanted to make a stand and tell Kirby and Parker to stick it, however, what would have happened then? I was not so much afraid of them closing the doors but giving the flying to the next bidder.
Eagle guys and PDT guys all know that being wholly owned gives us absolutely no RIGHTS to anything, including flying. Mainline would have given the flying to Mesa and JO would have said thank you Parker, lets go have a drink and my pilots will fly these aircraft regardless of them wanting to or not! Being a non-wholly owned, mgmt controls you, bids flying then passes it on. Just look at Mesa receiving the 175's for UAL. Did the pilots have a say before being rewarded the flying? No. JO said we will buy and staff and worry about what pilots think later.
Standing the line is one thing guys, but realizing that we have as much say and worth as tits on a bull is another. The game sucks, I agree, but so does the name calling and everything else. Just for a moment take a stand back and look at the bigger picture. We all hope to move on one day, I did not choose PSA to retire there and you did not choose Eagle or Mesa or Republic to retire there either.
We all fly in the same skies, land and operate at each others airports and give rides to commuting colleagues. All I am saying is lets just try and realize the system sucks.The only winners are the management teams who bring home their bonuses. Lets just try to be respectful, and a scab I am not, that is plain disrespectful.
