Cynicism aside, she seems like a hard worker and very reasonable person, and I hope she finds a good balance between legislating and ensuring actual safety and does not get fat and lazy in the "cushy" quasi-government "dream job." She was a Bush appointee to her original "big break", reappointed by Obama, and seems very well qualified by all that are in the know.
Our "obsession" is primarily a joke, but she is good looking in most everybody's opinion.
