It's awesome. You're going to spend years of your life sleeping in it, spend the money. I can't wait to get home after every trip just to get back in my own bed. After a week, the money spent won't even enter your mind. It takes a few nights to get used to, but it's the best "thing" I've ever bought.

Off subject but relevant to your post. I recently had customs orthodics made because of some chronic foot pain. Definitely some of the best money I've spent. I can walk again. I go for 5 mile walks (whenever I have time) on overnights now. My AME is going to be pleased.

This is a really good topic. We ought to all check back every now and then and tell how our mattresses are working out. I got the relevant copy of Consumer Reports magazine for this, and they say Sleep Number is one of the more durable brands so I ordered the C2 model. C-R has this one test where they pass a large roller over it a thousand times and give a score based on how many passes it takes before sagging starts. I have had a lot of trouble with mattresses sagging, materials are weak in most of them and cost does not equate to durability. Inner spring are the least durable and foam stuffed "memory foam" is not much better. Air beds are more durable. Some years ago I tried a camping-style airbed and was surprised how comfortable it was, until it leaked. Sleep Numbers are fancy air beds and I am hoping the quality is up to par.

I got this in a Queen a couple of years ago. I love it so much. Always gets rave reviews from whenever I have a lady friend over. Took me a few days to get used to sleeping on a firmer mattress but after you're used to it, you'll never want to get out of bed.
