This was CBS News' version:

FAA investigating after JetBlue plane nearly collides with small plane near NY airport - CBS News

Other than their phrase "nearly collides" for an uncomfortable but normal encounter with a VFR aircraft, they seem a little more objective. At least they didn't just make stuff up.

We should ground all air traffic in order to prevent these insanely close calls! While we're at it, we should stop all motor traffic too! We shouldn't have any near wrecks to talk about either.

All of these mainstream media networks shou be ashamed.

And this one with a runway incursion is a "near disaster". All airport ops are near disasters with her sensationalism.

Also how she says that "the aircraft flew at 7000 feet to burn off fuel" while the video clearly show the 777 dumping fuel over Atlanta.

I ditched CNN after that last website re-design. Too cumbersome on both phone and PC. Although I'll still watch Robin Mead while I'm getting ready in a hotel
