I'll echo that point. I was in the United briefing and someone in the audience asked if leaving a PIC RJ job for an LCC bus was a wise move. The speaker responded "absolutely not".
I know plenty of guys that left the regionals as PICs for an LCC and within 2yrs those that wanted to move do and have.
