It's even worse than that. The ads are linked to what you will be interested in tomorrow, even though you don't know it yet.

Should There Be A Dedicated FedEx TA Forum?
Yes. There's already 5 threads on it. Control and consolidate the madness now.

<<-- Like this but using airline logo/symbol?
Quote: ..I forgot to mention that this poll is open for a bit, after which I will do as the people want.
Vagabond - I'm sure this has been suggested many times before but since you're a moderator here I figured I'd ask - why isn't there a small airline logo/name, etc. to choose from when starting a new thread?
You know, like those tiny smiley faces to the right or the small icons at the bottom but showing airline logos instead?

I see you use the Poll function on this site and I'd imagine the "make a choice" software could be used for this too?

So if someone wanted to start a new thread he/she would click on Section first (ie. Major/Cargo, etc.), then specific airline logo (UAL, AA, FDX, UPS, DHL, etc.) or non-specific airline (ALL/ANY). If specific airline was chosen a tiny symbol/logo of that airline (or just airline code) would be shown right next to the thread title..

It sure would solve the continuous "what airline" comments, wouldn't it? ..and maybe it'd look a little more organized? ..but then again, maybe it'd become too complicated?

No offense dude but that's easier than just putting "Fdx-" at the beginning of a post/thread title?

The ads are now for Puget Sound Hearing and Audiology!?! What?

I just want to make something clear - this poll is asking about a FedEx TA Forum, like the Delta TA one in Major, not a special FedEx subforum. As I understand it, the MEC will make some kind of decision next week. Let's see what happens and we'll go from there. A FedEx subforum was created a long time ago (long before I ever realized you guys existed) and the results were less than satisfactory. I can imagine it spawned a lot of other problems and issues.

And as far as an airline logo, that's just too complicated. I've got a boatload of things to do, and this is not one of them. Sorry. It's fairly easy to type in the airline name in the title of threads. Try it.

Anybody else have concerns or fears?

You're correct. ...and yet so many people skip that part, and not just in cargo but in all sections. ("What airline?" comments wouldn't be there otherwise.)

My point was to make airline selection a part of starting each new thread. I.e. to post a new thread in the cargo forum you must first click on the cargo option. Currently that's the only selection you make.
This would be step 2 -> which airline is your post about?
- specific airline? -> click on that airline's mini logo.
- not airline specific -> click on ANY/ALL.
That's it.

Again, not an important issue, just figured I'd submit a suggestion. ..and I'm sure it's been done before..

Wow, no need for snide remarks, thought I was being polite and this was a simple suggestion. Sorry I wasted your time...

This is not a question of the Fedex TA, this is a question of how this will be handled by this website. To answer the original poster, I would say YES. But that could be problematic, and it could be used by attorneys to say that it was a "Job Action" [I don't make the rules, Fox News and the Republican Party do that FOR me], so i don't know what to tell you.
