You gotta do some research man, it's hurting you bad right now. You aren't eligible for CQFO until you get 1000 hours 121 time. Which from the time you start class, will take you 18-24 months. You're trying to be a captain immediately and it just isn't gonna happen, you have to have the time first.

Even without this post I'm trying to figure out why you'd consider a place with that much instability. Is it the bonuses that has people blinded to the reality?

With Compass and Mesa hiring pilots into their E175 with short upgrade times, it will amaze me if junior pilots continue to stay at Republic. Why stay if you are junior and you have decent hours?

There's no way this goldseal guy isn't a troll. Just sayin. A goldsealcfi would know the 121 captain qualification regs lol.

NC update:
Sounded familiar. Reminiscent, if you will, of the majority of their updates over the last 8 years. Nothing is happening yet the same couple of dozen guys on the 357 MB continue to stand around beat their chests and rub the guy off next to them. It's amazing.
And sqkvfr replies in 3.2.1..

Have you been to a general Union meeting or listened in on a conference call? It's more than just the people on the message board!

If this is your first jet job, and you've only been a CFI flying pistons, then congratulations, your in the group of new hires who historically require the most time in IOE, and Sim. Your ego will be squashed as reality hits you square in the face that you are not top gun.
Slow down, be thankful you can be in the right seat, and be a sponge willing to learn. Right now, you are not qualified to even be thinking about a Captains position.

I think even seasoned FOs get a dose of reality when becoming captain, Im not saying captains are Gods gift to aviation but theres a lot more responsibility that goes into place, if you weren't before you really have to step up your game on FARs, OpSpecs etc etc because its all on you, the guy next to you might be new off IOE where a LCA was holding their hand and they look at you with big doe eyes for 4 days.
