Skywest can't do it by themselves. Passengers get stuck on CRJs. No goes to the airport hoping to be on one. What would the slogan be - your ass will be numb and shoulder will hurt but at least it's cheap? It would be their last big mistake. Don't even ask how many slots into hubs they have or how many gates they own. All of which are barriers to entry.

Quote: Pathetic response. They're part of Skywest Inc. also. Pretty sad when there's no soladarity even under the same umbrella.
There is no solidarity between the groups. XJT pilots do not even consider themselves part of SkyWest. In Houston all I hear is complaints about SkyWest taking their flying.

A good deal like we are the only idiots that get some made up historical credit value instead of block?

I have a 3 day trip that blocks over 15:30 and pays less than 14:30 historical credit!

The block time that SkyWest gets paid for just not the flight crews!

You mean a good deal like that?

Yup. All the flying SkyWest pilots are taking in IAH. There are less than 100 crews in IAH. Mesa is bigger there now.

Guess you didn't understand the meaning of my response. But sure. If that's how you want to interpret it. Kudos!

Management offering the Skywest non-contract instead of the concessionary TA is missing out on a good deal? That doesn't make sense. Management was very quick to offer us the skywest pilots non-contract because it was so much cheaper. They were willing to offer it as-is. In other words, compared to the concessionary TA, it was so bad that management would've been happy if we took that deal.

So what is it that was such a good deal that we missed out on?
