CTC Aviation Flight Instructor Job (KGYR, AZ)

I posted another ad in the flight schools section looking for information on the company CTC Aviation but didn't get any responses so I figured I'd try here in this section since it gets more flow of traffic.

I'm a CFI working at a flight training academy in Phoenix and have a job offer with CTC Aviation to instruct there and I was trying to find out some more information on the company and/or position. If anyone has info or experience with the company please share! I've got a month to make a commitment on taking the job or staying with the current company I'm with.

Currently I'm making $28k/yr and averaging about 90-100 hours a month SE time (soon to be a mix of ME and SE time), benefits, etc.

New job would be starting at $45k/yr flying 60-80 hours/month, after IR standardizations pay goes up to $50k, then after ME stands up to $55k... So it's looking like a nice change of pace in terms of pay increase.

Any info on the company and job would be appreciated, thanks!

Unless you are planning on being a career flight instructor, don't make a lateral move like that. There goes a month with little to no flight time. If you're really getting 90-100 hrs/month; get your time and move on to something louder with two engines.

Not looking to make a career out of it, however, between a mortgage payment amongst other bills the extra $1000/mo after taxes would really help out. The difference in flight hours would put me back maybe 6 months, so I'm not really too concerned with that. I completely understand the whole short term vs. long term pay about it also... Yea if I get to an airline 6 months sooner that's upgrade time, pay, seniority, etc. (assuming that's the route I chose to take), however, financial freedom in the mean time at this point in my life has become a bit of a priority.

If anything I'm really just looking for any insight/information on the company and job itself prior to making the jump so I have a better idea of what to expect. Whether or not I should make a lateral move from one CFI job to another isn't necessarily the debate at hand... Because I know it's not the best career move especially if one is trying to simply build hours and move up to larger aircraft, again however, making ends meet by any means necessary for today trumps chasing big aircraft/dream job. Besides, it's not like I won't be getting flight hours still, I'll just be getting fewer and be doing it for a slightly longer time frame.
