1. There are many ways to have mgt. pilots join the IPA. One way is to send out cards. This might not happen, but if it does, it is one way to give us a choice.

2. As I said above, cards are one way of doing this. Another way is to "accrete" us.

3. A judge could be asked by the IPA to rule in favor of placing the mgt. pilots on the seniority list. If this happened, UPS would surely appeal any ruling.

2. Appeal like they didn’t do after round two of the Dorsey case? It was Dorsey who sued UPS and that’s why it went to court and a judge was involved.

You mean issues that some of your relatively "new hire" managers may have, like some getting Capt pay while others get FO pay for doing the same job. I am sure there are others.

I'm not a legal expert. Union cards or not, in the end, I believe this will be decided by the Courts in favor of the IPA. Guys like SEGATAKI are really going to take it in the shorts as they get bumped back to FO. Too bad! They jumped ahead of the line anyway!

Skip the strike breakers crap, we all know that the IPA is never going to strike. A 200 man reserve corp, not subject to contractual limitations is a much larger problem for our pilots and career progressions. I'm curious as to why you say it will never happen. Learned a long time ago never to say never.

There isn't a thing these guys do that couldn't be handled cheaper and more efficently by a line pilot or an intern, with the exception of flying outside of the contract rules. That is why they exist in their current form.
