My vote will be NO if we are not awarded top of the industry pay/benefits rates. DL has profiteered for more than a decade on our mediocre contracts while enjoying record profits and industry awards that we front line employees ensure by operational excellence.
Let me make this clear, mother Delta is not going to take care of us like in the old days. It is up to US to demand what we are worth and consequently, deal with whatever we as a group are willing to accept. It's a business deal ladies and gentlemen, not a warm fuzzy family relationship. Ed and his group will take the last penny that we do not claim. Claim every penny and if the next TA is lacking in any way, you owe it to yourselves and your fellow colleges to vote NO. If you decide to accept less than you are worth, it falls on you, not the company as they just did another outstanding job of exploiting our profession - AGAIN.
Stay strong (and thirsty) my friends.

Our situation is no different than other BUSINESSES where the compensation is negotiable - DAL is not going to pay us a dime more than they have to despite expecting us (and us doing) more than is required out of the job. DAL has a lot of people that once they get to work do everything and more to get the job done and it is time to be rewarded for that and stop looking at it emotionally (as in the old DAL is a family perspective - those days left with Ron Allen's CEO days). We've gotten this far so let's get what we deserve.
