SLC Seniority Question
Hi Peeps,
Can anybody (in the know) explain why the date of 04-10-2017 has not changed (for many months) for SLC CRJ FO seniority? Surely, there is some movement in that seat at with regards to upgrades and people moving on to greener pastures?
Cheers,
G

The CRJ flying in SLC is decreasing and will continue to do so. The ERJ is doing the flying that the CRJ700/900 used to out of SLC, and the 7/900s have been moved east. They have not, and probably won't let anymore CRJ pilots into SLC for a long time.
If you want SLC the ERJ is the future.

SLC is probably going to lose the CRJ, and shrink a LOT... going to be very painful for many of the local lifers, which includes ten+ year FO's. Rumor, but from someone who should know.

ERJ SLC flying suports 85~ lines (currently 50~ per seat). CRJ SLC flying (minus all the MSP/DTW flights they do) supports 105~ lines. Back in the day SLC Captain CRJ list had 440... now its 210... my crystal ball says SLC is all CRJ200’s and 175’s by next summer...with the above lines. And 20% reserves added to that list..
