Default Bonuses over time and the exact pay structure

I've been wondering about (performance?) bonuses over time and the exact pay structure. Obviously there's always more to the story; I've been digging rather than observe what's readily available with regards to the pay but i'm wondering specifically about how bonuses are awarded after year one.
Yes, theres a small signing bonus for previous 121/135, yes the pay rate is lower. But there are infact incremental bonuses over time, yes? Are other companies doing this?
Its just that the $$ isn't given out in a single lump sum, like others are doing? Because, if the performance bonuses are decent enough, perhaps it could offset the difference in pay from somewhere else that doesn't offer the same thing?

How does that work along with longevity?

The bonuses are an enigma that nobody can guess. Every time one is to come out the speculation begins, but again, nobody really knows.

Somebody in SAPA did a comparison and I think it was either Republic or Endeavor that after 3 years would have paid over 100K higher than SkyWest.
