Default Current DFW status

I was curious to find out the chances of getting DFW based in training if I applied tomorrow. With prior 121/135 time, how long until upgrade?

Thanks!

Depends when you start class. The base is still growing so it will be quick if you get in soon. May stagnate a bit once it gets up to the size they need.

When will it get up to the size needed in your opinion? My class is May 17th, fingers crossed

You'll be fine for an FO spot. I think we take deliveries through the end of the year. You might miss the super-quick upgrade into Dallas, but I bet it still won't take long. Maybe 2 years give or take.

I doubt dallas upgrade will drop below 2 years. Its an easy 1 leg commute from most of the west coast and its all -700 flying. IMO the only reason DTW is so jr is it does not have a ton of west coast service and 60%+ of the trips start at or around 7am. FO side now is jr and hopefully we keep growing the base.

I think DTW is junior cause 1 nobody wants to live in dtw and 2 nobody wants to fly the 200 4-5 legs a day.

DFW is junior cause it's expanding at the moment but I bet it will hover around what COS is at when all is said and done. About 3 yrs to be the plug Captain.
