Appreciate it!

In that case at some point I'd suppose SkyWest wouldn't have a choice anymore...

There's some companies that simply might not be able to afford the personnel loss if they make it mandatory. Sure most of the pilots would suck it up and get vaxxed, but the amount of FAs and ground crew who work at SkyWest who don't want it is probably significant, and many of them simply don't care about their peanut-paying job enough to get a shot they don't want.

Got an interview for FO next week, studying my butt off for it! Are the class dates really all the way out in March next year? Assuming I get the offer, studying my butt off right now. I have 1600 hours and ATP CTP from an employer that put me through it right before COVID

My bad, seeing earlier posts about this i.e. email recruiter and ask after getting a class date, CTP may help, CRJ vs ERJ, etc.

Interviewed September 30 and my class date isn't until May 3. They offered to put me on a waitlist once I hit 1500.

That would be a mistake.

Congrats to those that just got hired and those interviewing soon! I'm studying hard and will be interviewing soon.

LAX is about a 1 hour and 50 min to 3 1/2 hour drive for me, depending on traffic. Always assumed it would be my eventual domicile. FAT and PSP are secondary options. All of them involve a hefty drive. However, the wife might have an opportunity to land a 2-3 year job right next to the MSP airport and now we're weighing options. Her career movement is the deciding factor, but the thought of being able to live in base and close to the airport is a very attractive option to me.

I fully realize any future predictions about a base are wildy speculative, but can anyone give me insight as to what life is like right now at MSP for the CRJ? I imagine MSP is far less desirable than a lot of other bases and the seniority dates for FOs and CAs support that, so seniority and the ability to hold a line could be quicker, as well as upgrade. How about the blocks out of MSP for CRJ pilots? Crappy? Decent? Any and all input welcome!
