ID90 has some pretty inexpensive cruises.

August, 5 days, New Orleans, Costa Maya, Cozumel, New Orleans; $18/day.
August, 4 days, Miami, Half Moon Cay, Nassau, Miami; $21/day.
August, 4 days, Port Canaveral, Nassau, Princess Cays, Port Canaveral; $21/day.

Honestly who cares, more money doesn’t mean much if you have no time to spend it on anything. Anything is better than having to deal with crew scheduling or the schedules we’re being awarded. This is now the worst QOL airline in the industry after they convinced their partners to allow mixed pairing. It created a ridiculous amount of 10 hour min rest layovers combined with 12 days off a month, which equals terrible QOL. They essentially lowered the bottom line with pilot efficiency and destroyed the last bit of QOL we had left.

The only thing you should be worried about is getting those apps out and leaving. Let SAPA worry about this new pay package that won’t stop the bleeding. SAPA sent the package back last week, obviously with better QOL changes. Management is still pondering around with it, which tells you they’re not on par with what it’s going to take to change the attrition and stability of this airline.

They’re still in the mindset of lowering the bottom line in this environment! Where they are the last dog at the bowl!! It’s defeating to even think about how much they’ve lost the pilot group. Everyone flying the line is upset, even the pilots who’ve routinely given them the benefit of the doubt.

Canada

Does Canada flying have vax requirement(s) still? If so, what are they (include boosters?)? Lastly, are Canada trips paid higher because of the requirements? I looked on SWOL and couldn't find the information; apologies, still fairly new to OO.

I’m trying to understand what you mean by pilots only caring about themselves.

I meant more that because Skywest pilots don’t have any proper representation, there would never be a call to only, for example, pick up 200% add pay versus 100%. And even if the student council called for it, there are tons of pilots who couldn’t care less and would pick it up at 50%. The rogue element here is widespread.

You don’t have a clue. Any union that conspires their pilot group to not pick up open time would likely result in a job action lawsuit. That’s not allowed, which is why unionized pilots routinely pick up open time without consequence while other off duty pilots are picketing.

Recent example;

Any idea if that’s sticking around for August?
