What is the best way to prepare ahead of time for your class date? I have a late Oct CTP and an early Nov CRJ class. I am planning to start Sheppard Air a week or so ahead of the CTP class but any recommendations on other areas to focus on?
From the sounds of it I will not be receiving any aircraft-specific training material ahead of time but want to make sure I am using my time beforehand wisely. At this point my plan is brushing up using ASA's Turbine Pilot's Flight Manual and Everything Explained for the Professional Pilot; along with keeping up my IFR proficiency. Any other areas or resources you could recommend would be much appreciated! |

It’s pretty much all death by PowerPoint and videos you’ve probably already seen. The sims were fun, that’s the last fun you’ll have for awhile! |
