I finally heard back from my recruiter regarding the status of my interview from early December, and they haven't come to a "final decision" yet. Still waiting to hear.

I’ve been wondering the same thing about the status of my interview from early Dec.That’s been the case for several different colleagues aswell. Not sure what the current hiring slow down means for attaining seniority tho.

Ummm…. If $4,000 and a week in a box is keeping you from getting hired at Alaska….. I’d seriously get the ball rolling…. I’d be at a CTP course Monday…. I have no idea what is competitive, but the fact Alaska hires with just the ATP written tells me you have a chance….

This. The ~$6000 total it will cost will be made up in the first few weeks of training at Alaska, and you’ll probably start training there long before anyone here gets a new class date at SkyWest. It’s actually less expensive than waiting for SkyWest in many ways.

This wording makes it sound like they will let you know when you are within 30 days of your NEW date, not within 30 days of receiving that email.

Exactly. Who knows when that will be. I’ll keep the SkyWest job offer in my back pocket in case, but I’m getting my CTP/written on my own and applying to bigger and better things the moment I have my test results in hand, which should be Feb 3 - the day I was supposed to *start* CTP at SkyWest, no less.

Anyone else in 1/27 CTP and 2/6 INDOC? Still haven't heard anything about postponements, however CTP is only a week away and I still haven't received flight confirmations for either CTP or INDOC. Not sure if this is reason for concern as I don't know how far in advance flights are typically booked for training.

According to employment standards this class is still on as scheduled, you should see the hotel info in your portal under welcome day. I called the travel center a couple days ago and they they will start working on flight soon.

For those who interviewed in December and still haven't heard anything, I interviewed NOVEMBER 8, and only heard back on December 15 with an email that offered me the job but no class date (I already had my ATP minimums when I applied as well). I'm still waiting on a class date now (I told them I'd take ERJ or CRJ).

The job offer email basically said it is taking them longer to provide updates as they work to align their 2023 class dates with overall availability, whatever that means.

Curious if anyone that interviewed in early December has heard anything back in terms of a yes or no, or if everyone’s got the same “We’ll let you know when we hear from the pilot review board” from the recruiters.

I’ve heard absolutely nothing, after an email a week to my recruiter for 4 straight weeks politely checking in for an update. My guess is by the time they get around to contacting me I’ll have already started at the other regional with PNW bases.

Gonna be a bit slower process of time building now from the sounds of it but will probably end up ahead when it’s all said and done when the goal is a legacy.

What's the latest on delays between INDOC and ground for ERJ? Last data point I can find is from a few weeks ago, looks like it was at least a couple month wait then. Things change fast and curious if it's moving at all.

I interviewed mid December and received a cjo early January by email. Was told they would call/email when a class date is available. Interviewed as a cfi/cadet with about 1200 hours.

I had my CJO revoked as well. It’s going to be interesting to see how the majors will find pilots in the future when the regionals that they hire from aren’t hiring.

It’ll all settle out. It’s a ca shortage in the pipeline.
