Almost a certainty that this isn't additional block hours just a shift from other Delta hubs.

Sorry to keep asking questions, I’m pretty excited to start soon.
With the mixed pairings, will more bases get more flight benefits? As of now ORD on the ERJ gets only Delta and United, what’s the likelihood that we see Alaska and American too? |

Can’t staff the bases you have and open another base, a base that you closed two times prior? Really have to question the direction this place is going. |

Could be. Or maybe management knows something we all don’t. Because the fact that they did this in the current situation we’re in is a bold move
Just kidding. I don't know that. It could be that's what it took to get Delta to agree to mixed pairings. Or it could be that Endeavor can't staff the ATL flying. It looks like it's going to make a bunch of current OO pilots happy. It's going to go senior. Almost two years to even hold an FO position there. There's a shift going on with the Delta flying though. 900 flying for Delta out west next month, which hasn't happened in a while. Regional airlines are notorious for opening and closing domiciles. |
OO asked DoT to get out of the ESA destinations (29 of them); once that takes effect, that frees up planes to shift to ATL. Dumping low pax count flights (ESA) for mostly full pax flights (ATL) sounds relatively smart. We shall see.

All that was UA tail stuff. But they did get out of the Dulles EAS flying |
