Did you guys hear or do you know of someone that got a class date with just a couple of days notice?.

Some context: someone interviews, gets a class date but far in time (coupe of months from interview date) but let the recruiter know he's available within days if they call him.

Does Skywest actually have some kind of list of this type of individuals? And are they contacted once they find how many no-shows they have on first day of class?

Yes my friend was in a October ERJ class. Got a call asking if he wants a June 27th slot

Yes, they have a list of all approved hires, and will reach out to fill vacated slots. I have seen them scour the list for SLC locals to fill a same-day no-show. If you can be physically available on day one with zero notice, let them know.

They probably can't accept late starts after day one, so the window of opportunity is probably just the morning of day one.

That's really interesting. Not a local but person will be at a hotel at SLC, so same day will be 100% doable. Good news then :)

Are you not going to XJT anymore? Reasons?

Lol I was wondering the same, I'm pretty sure he's "just asking"

Is there anything wrong? I thought APC was the place to ask and possibly get answers.

Nothing wrong, I’m regional ‘shopping’ too and wondered if you knew something I would like to know too. Ask away, I enjoy learning more about the different options.

Haha. Just personal preference and life circumstances. Nothing wrong with XJT in my opinion :) (bases/upgrade)
