Most junior FO on the 175 in SFO was hired on 06/21/2019.
However, what is true today might change tomorrow as the needs for specific domiciles change rapidly.

Keep in mind SFO is a good base for anyone in Northern California- people drive from the Sierra foothills, Central Valley, north central coast, etc.

Anywhere other bases these people would be driving to SFO/San Jose or Sacramento to commute.

I started training 6/21, got LGA while in training, bid for and was awarded ORD before finishing sim and was awarded SFO the day i finished IOE. I'll be starting there 10/1. I didn't expect to get to the west coast so quickly, but it happened. 3 or 4 others in my class got it too.

Or..pretty much all the bases from SEA to SAN. Even DEN and ORD could be thrown into that group.

I’m from the bay. Most of my family still live there (for some reason) and after trying to pencil it out i found it nearly impossible to live there on any FO pay scale.

The only way to do it is to live with mommy and daddy, be married into money, or be propped up by a trust fund by your babyboomer parents.

Who says that your 121 gig must be your only job?
