IF that had been an option, of course not.

I’m getting displaced off of locals by pilots on leave that are coming in for landing currency. If you want to you can. All that you need to do is call crew support. I have a nice easy three leg local on the twelfth, if anyone is interested.

I've been on cpto since April. I'm heading in to get my re qual landings and then scheduling has me on reserve the rest of the month. Does anyone know if I can resume the cpto and who do I contact for that? Thanks

That doesn't make sense. You have to apply every month for the CPTO. By now you should be famililar with the process.

Do you mean the unpaid VTO leave?

If they offer it again for September there is a link on the homepage. It probably won't open up until about the 8th and close around the 12th. I'd imagine only CRJ pilots have a chance at any sort of leave being awarded.

Long story longer. I've been on cpto and then had impromptu surgery. OO only found out because my 90 day was up and since I couldn't fly, they put me on medical. Now I'm back but they tossed me on reserve. Since it would save the company cash if I take another round of ctpo I was curious if anyone knows the point of contact for that.

I almost 100% certain they won't do anything for you for August. If anything ask crew support for time off without pay on the reserve days you'd rather not work. Put in for September if they offer it again, and like I mentioned previously, they'll make an announcement about that in another week or so.

Was management upset with you about the surgery and not being able to stay current?

Not upset at all, just seems they couldn't wait to drop me from paid leave and rightfully so in this day and time. I'll pay my dues if it means I have a job to get back to.
