I agree with you. It is concerning. I am hopeful that even though people may be buying less (lowering the outlook for FDX), the demand for travel does not shrink as much. That may very well be wishful thinking on my part…but we’ll see in the coming months.

I am not so sure. Their ground operation is a disaster. Amazon has moved further and further away from using them. It’s expensive to ship with them.

Their bread and butter has actually been document handling. That’s languishing.

On the other hand - I think they have been getting excess that others cannot handle. If that’s declining well shipping may be down.

The next Id look at is the fractionals.

Which would place me in a position to make 120k a year with 18 days off each month. These new pay rates for FO’s and loss of upgrade incentive for a company in desperate need for Captains foreshadows the next big announcement… FORCED UPGRADES, get ready.

SGU tried to play nice and offer a bone to upgrade, but most FO's just wanted the money now. So be prepared for the end result.

You called it brother haha. Tracy sent the forced upgrade email out to the pilot group like 20 mins ago and I’ve already seen it through the usual sources 😂😂😂🤣.

Glad I’m not at SkyWest anymore. You know it’s bad when they have to start forcing upgrades knowing the consequences of a union uprising.

Just add 1% to both the CA and FO rates as of Jan 1 of 2024, 25, and 26. 4 year deal.

Hopefully, inflation comes way down.

Did TA 2.0 pass the vote?

Do you know if this was passed yet?

it did. Pilots went for the money but not the QOL. When the money gets taken away in the downturn next year, the QOL will still be miserable.
